About the Convention
The Lions Clubs International Convention is the world's largest annual gathering of service-minded volunteers. The 2027 convention — known as LionsCon27 — will be held in Washington, D.C. from July 2–6, 2027, bringing together more than 20,000 Lions, Leos, and community leaders from over 120 countries.
The MD-22 Host Committee, representing Maryland, Delaware, and Washington D.C., is responsible for organizing local hospitality, volunteer coordination, service projects, the iconic Lions Parade, and the Host Night celebration. The Host Committee's $200,000 fundraising goal supports these activities and ensures a world-class experience for all convention attendees.
Lions Clubs International is a global service organization with over 1.4 million members in 200+ countries and geographic areas. The organization focuses on five global causes: vision, hunger, environment, diabetes, and childhood cancer.

Media Accreditation Request
Journalists, photographers, and broadcast media covering LionsCon27 may apply for media accreditation. Approved media will receive press credentials and access to designated media areas during the convention.
